Meet kaushalya

kaushalya Von Hagt
Director/Social Work Supervisor/Medicare Provider
 
Kaushalya has completed a Bachelor s of Arts (Honours) and Master’s Degree in Social Work (PQ) in 2019. Kaushalya has been working in the community  sector for over 15 years . Her experience is not limited to working with special needs children, families, domestic violence, working with men and mental health in the private and the public sector in Melbourne.  Kaushalya embraced the opportunity to work as a Case Manager, Outreach Practitioner and a Counsellor.
Kaushalya enjoys working with  adults ,teenagers and parents and conducting psychosocial assessments for men and women. Kaushalya uses a wide range of techniques to respond to her patient’s needs such as ACT,CBT and Mindfulness.  Her previous experience in the community sector assists her in connecting with clients from a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives. She works from a person-centred, strengths-based framework and incorporates trauma informed practice. Kaushalya works collaboratively with her patients to achieve the best outcome for her patients.
She enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering in the community.
